Sammye Rusco

Sammye (Cherokee) holds a Journalism degree from the University of Houston and has more than 20 years of experience working in the public relations field. She is a former Director of Communications at Cherokee Nation, Director of Media Relations and Senior Account Manager at Elmore Public Relations and Director of Public Affairs and Community Relations at the Council on Alcohol and Drug Abuse Houston. Sammye has extensive experience in media relations, branding, marketing and crisis communications and is certified in emergency management communications.
